[ yes, master chief is fox's girl friday. what were you expecting. natasha will happily out herself as a stalker of all things network-related as she gauges the united front being presented here. ]

[ pfft. she doesn't recognize the name, but she can appreciate the way with words. that this contact is coming out of the blue and pretty obviously aware of what fox has been doing on the network is interesting, but she's going to wait it out and see before getting suspicious. ]

She's not winning any Miss Congeniality pageants anytime soon, unless tactical mortar launching is a part of it.

[ which brings them right back around to the topic at hand. that's what this is, right? it feels as much like a war as anything else she's been in. they're even calling themselves a 'resistance' - against compass. and someone has to train the soldiers. ]

[ half the people in dance class are the younger ones, with less experience. there's older too, sure, but adults aren't so ready to admit how scared shitless they are as kids. ]

We have a lot that manage firearms, but we can use more. Don't let Chief watch a session, he'll critique.

Every kind of martial arts you can pronounce, and probably some you can't. I imagine it'll be a great deal less helpful given our situation, but I'm pretty handy with computer systems, as well. I imagine Stark has that covered, though.

I've been trying out harpsichord, too. They say it's important to be well-rounded.

[ she's never touched a harpsichord in her life but it's equally important to not take yourself too seriously. ]

Impressive resume. One would hope you actually live up to it. [ aka way to talk big, gurlfrond ] Stark and his pet computer, yes. We don't get much out of the computers here, though.
